What is a Printable Ruler?
A printable ruler is a PDF designed to print at exact real-world size on a standard A4 sheet. Once printed and cut out, it works just like a physical ruler — no device calibration needed.
Choose your unit and orientation, then download a PDF to print on a standard A4 sheet. Set your printer to 100% scale ("Actual size", no "Fit to page") and you get an exact 1:1 ruler.

Each A4 page contains several parallel ruler strips spanning the full usable width. In portrait you get four rulers per page; in landscape, three longer rulers. Each strip has a 1:1 scale with major, minor and fine tick marks, plus numeric labels at every major unit.
A standard credit/debit card is 85.60 × 53.98 mm (ISO 7810 ID-1). A one-euro coin is 23.25 mm across. A US quarter is 24.26 mm. Lay any of these on the printed ruler — if they line up with the expected mark, the print is true-size.
